Mr. Gupta has worked extensively on corporate and commercial transactions, foreign collaborations, joint ventures, M&A, corporate restructuring, entry strategy, and establishment of the business presence of foreign corporations in India as Wholly Owned Subsidiaries (WOS), Joint Venture Companies, Non-Banking Financial Corporation (NBFC). He has helped MNCs to acquire stakes in Indian companies by way of financial investment, technology collaboration, against royalty for supplying technical know-how & use of trademarks, and against External Commercial Borrowings. Amongst others, he has also advised a number of foreign religious and charitable entities, particularly on their entry strategy into India, and has assisted them in getting tax exemptions as well as mandatory approvals of FCRA from the Ministry of Home Affairs.
